Concomitant tricuspid repair in mitral regurgitation surgery: a systematic review and meta-analysis

Abstract Background Tricuspid Regurgitation (TR) is common in patients with severe mitral disease. However, the evidence insufficient to inform a decision about whether perform prophylactic tricuspid-valve repair during mitral-valve surgery who have moderate TR or less-than-moderate regurgitation. Purpose To compare outcomes of concomitant tricuspid valve versus no less-than-severe patients.
